Exploring roads near the Williams Dam, Indiana.
We visited the "Flower Man" north east of Loogootee on the western edge of West Boggs Creek Reservoir, and drove some paved county roads south of the Crane Navel Depot. Then made a fast drive up Hwy 450 from Shoals and stopped for a picnic lunch at the Williams Dam. After lunch we crossed the White River using the Williams Covered bridge and took several narrow curvy county roads to the Stumphole Bridge which took us back over the White River. We then drove the rest of Hwy 450 to Bedford where we stopped for refreshments. A casual drive back down Hwy 50 to Hwy 57 and then back to the Oakland City / Evansville area. It was a very interesting day. 175 Miles, Oakland City to Oakland City.
